 It's been a good week. It's been such a nice time, being out at sea with the family-- Especially now that all three of the kids are old enough to actually properly learn and help and enjoy.

This actual day, however, is hopefully going to be one of the best. It's always nice, after all, when he can wake his husband up with some soft kisses.

And, well, with a gentle murmur. 

"Kids're gonna make breakfast for you t'day."

So Horatio should just stay in bed for a little longer rather than getting up and trying to make breakfast himself, clearly.

It's been a wonderful week. Longs stretches with just the family are always exceptional, and adding to that time out at sea? Horatio genuinely can't think of a more superlative way to spend time.

Actually sleeping in the morning isn't half bad either. Being woken up by the gentle press of Archie's lips is relatively delightful.

But the grogginess of all these things is ripe for the first nagging worry of the day. "--why?"
